Assist For You (Assist For Youth) project, which is underway for the development of youth basketball in Korea from 2022. Wonju YKK Basketball Class and Cheongju Dream Team Basketball Class, which are working together in this project, will face off on the 22nd and 23rd at the Cheongju Unho High School Gymnasium in the youth division of the 9th Cheongju City Life Sports Basketball Championship.
The history of confrontation between Wonju YKK and Cheongju Dream Team is more frequent than expected. The two teams, which had faced off in the i-League Chungbuk regional competition held last year, also faced off in the Wilson Cup 2023 assist youth basketball tournament held in January this year.
The two teams, which are separated from Wonju, Gangwon-do and Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, and are difficult to meet unless it is a tournament, will have their third confrontation in the youth division of the 9th Cheongju City Life Sports Basketball Tournament, which will open on the 22nd.
Wonju YKK and Cheongju Dream Team Basketball Class competed side by side in the U12 division and faced off in the preliminaries in Group B.
While the youth division of this tournament is held in two categories, U10 and U12, the Cheongju Dream Team basketball class, which is equivalent to the home team, participates in both categories.
