‘Post-Kim Ji-soo’ Seongnam’s Kim Hyun-jun earns U18 national team substitute call-up, aims to make final squad

Seongnam FC U18 defender Kim Hyun-jun has been named an alternate for the second domestic training camp for the 2023 Men’s National Team.

Kim joined Paju NFC on July 7 as an alternate for the second training camp following his call-up to the first domestic training camp.

Born in 2005, the 18-year-old is currently a defender for the Seongnam FC U18 team, where he is a dedicated player who leads the team with his bitter and unselfish play to bring the players closer together every game.

Earlier this year, he joined the Seongnam FC Pro Team’s second winter training camp and trained with confidence.

“I want to be a player who dedicates himself to the team and supports the team rather than standing out, and I want to work harder this time to make the final roster. I will always do my best,” he said.

Kim’s U18 team will participate in the 2023 SBS Cup International Youth Tournament in Shizuoka, Japan, and the final roster will be announced on August 11.메이저놀이터

Meanwhile, Seongnam has produced great players from the club’s youth system, including Hwang Eui-jo, Park Tae-joon, and Kim Ji-soo, and has been providing support for the youth players to grow in a better environment.
