Moon Do-yup will attempt to win his second consecutive title at the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour’s iM Bank Open (Total prize money: 500 million won – 100 million won for the winner).

The iM Bank Open, now in its seventh year, will be held at Pami Hills CC East Course (Par 71-7194) in Chilgok-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, from June 21 to 24.

Defending champion Do-yup Moon will be defending his title.

Moon won last year’s event in a playoff after carding a final score of 21-under-par 263. Moon is currently 28th in Genesis points and 38th on the Genesis money list.

“It’s always great to play with so much support from the galleries in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. I hope to perform well in front of many galleries again this year.” “I’m looking forward to the gallery’s enthusiastic support this year. If many fans come to the tournament, the players will showcase their best selves,” he said.

After finishing runner-up for the second year in a row, Kim Han-byul will try to win again.

In 2021, Kim finished second at this event with a final total of 21-under-par 263, two strokes behind Park Sang-hyun. Last year, she finished runner-up in a playoff against Do Yup Moon.

Kim said, “When I play at Farmy Hills CC, I get a lot of energy from the fans. I play with confidence because I’ve always had good results there,” said Kim. “This year, I will try my best to put my two disappointments behind me.”

Developmentally disabled golfer Lee Seung-min earned 83.75 Ranking Points in the first half of the year, placing him 39th on the Rankings, and earned a spot on the KPGA Korean Tour on his own at the Bizplay Electronics Open.
