Yonsei was led by Lee Min-seo’s 17 points and seven assists, including three 3-pointers, and Lee Kyu-tae’s 16 points and six rebounds. Kim Dowan finished with 14 points and 10 assists and Kim Gun-woo had a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Chosun University was led by Yoo Chang-seok with 14 points, but could not overcome the deficit from the first quarter.

From the first quarter, Yonsei took the advantage over Chosun University. Yonsei took advantage of their height to pull down offensive rebounds and gain offensive possession. In the process, Lee Min-seo scored, and the counterattack quickly widened the gap after the middle of the quarter.

The gap widened further in the second quarter as Chosun struggled with the 3-2 zone defence that Yonsei brought. The team was unable to create any significant scoring opportunities due to numerous turnovers and missed 3-pointers. Yonsei, on the other hand, continued to widen the gap, with Kim Gun-woo demonstrating excellent under-the-basket skills, including a spectacular under-the-basket dunk. The first half ended with Yonsei leading 43-23.

The second half was no different.

Yonsei’s strong press and zone defence kept forcing Joseon’s offence to fail. Kim Dowan, Lee Kyu-tae, and others converted their baskets to further widen the gap.

Chosun University tried to fight back with Yoo Chang-seok, and even managed a counterattack after a mistake. However, it was too much to overcome the huge gap. The game ended with a convincing victory for Yonsei.
