[MyDaily = Jae-Hee Shim] The Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler-Gabe Vincent-Bam Adebayo trio, who are challenging for the ‘No. 8 seed miracle’, have summoned the trio of a decade ago. A decade later, the trio is back in the spotlight in the NBA Finals, scoring more than 20 points in the same game for Miami.

Miami won Game 2 of the 2022-2023 NBA Championship 111-108 on 5 May at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, USA. The trio’s offence was on fire. Butler scored 21 points and dished out nine assists, while Bam Adebayo added 21 points and nine rebounds. Vincent paced the win with a team-high 23 points.스포츠토토

The trio became the first Miami trio to all score at least 20 points since Game 5 of the 2012-2013 NBA Finals. Ten years ago in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Miami fell to San Antonio 104-114. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade poured in 25 points apiece, and Ray Allen scored 21 in the loss. However, the Heat won Games 6 and 7 to take the NBA Finals four games to three, with LeBron taking home the MVP honours.

In this NBA Finals, the Miami trio struggled a bit in Game 1. Adebayo scored 26 points and Vincent added 19. But Butler was held to 13 points. In the end, the team lost 93-104. In Game 2, Butler came alive and Vincent scored the game-winning basket. All three players scored more than 20 points, raising expectations and reminding us of the legendary LeBron-Wade-Allen trio that won the championship.
