At around 10:30 am local time on the 15th, a Nepal Yeti Airline passenger plane departing from Kathmandu crashed near the airport of Pokhara, a resort town in the Kaski region, where it was arriving.
There were 72 people on board, including 68 passengers and 4 crew members.
Foreign media reported that the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal confirmed that more than 68 people were killed in the accident.
TASS news agency, citing a spokesperson for Yeti Airlines, said that all on board were killed.
